April 1 India successfully launched its low-earth orbit satellite Emisat, and 28 foreign nano satellites on-board its polar rocket on 1 April 2019. The Honolulu Museum of Art on 1 April 2015 returned seven artifacts looted from India and smuggled into the United States. April 2 India and Australia formally signed a new trade deal, the Australia-India Economic Cooperation and Trade Agreement, on 2 April 2022 as the two nations signalled an intention to forge closer trade ties. Rakesh Sharma was the first Indian to travel in space. It was a joint space program between India and Soviet Union. Sharma spent eight days in space aboard the Salyut 7 space station from Soviet Union. He travelled with two other Soviet cosmonauts on 2nd April 1984. India won their second Cricket World Cup, in front of the home crowd, after twenty-eight years on April 2, 2011. India beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in the final. May 1 May 2 An international team, including researchers from India, has discovered three planets orbiting around a tiny star only 40 light-years away from Earth, according to a study published in the journal Nature on 2 May 2016.
